​This class includes the origination and history, present day, and future of landscape irrigation, with emphasis on water management. Other topics included are irrigation terminology and typical irrigation layouts based on the latest standards and state regulations. Individual irrigation components, including various sprinklers heads, drip irrigation, valves, piping, pressure regulators, controllers, sensors, and required backflow methods for safety will be discussed. Basic hydraulic principles will conclude this class.
