Technician Training for State Licensing 2011

This training includes water conservation, irrigation terminology, components, hydraulics, installation, maintenance, and the New Texas rules and regulations. Registration fees for different locations may vary slightly, however most are around $350.
New state law requires that a licensed irrigation technician and/or a licensed irrigator be on each irrigation site at all times. Implementation date is January 1, 2010.
All students will be required to have a copy of the new 332 page “Texas Landscape Irrigation Training and Reference Manual” (3rd edition). This book is included in the registration price at some locations (noted on the schedule below). Otherwise, student can purchase the book at the school bookstore. Total investment is similar either way.
A copy of the “Professional Landscape Irrigation Training” DVD containing almost 2 hours of invaluable irrigation training for accelerated in-home or office training is available from the instructor for $50 (this includes tax). That is less than half the regular price!
Note: Registration fees for locations vary slightly, although the total investment (including class and book) are in a similar range approximating $350. Check with school or instructor, upon registration, as to exact cost, book availability and cost, campus, building and room location. All technician classes have an hour lunch break and two 15 minutes breaks (one in morning and one in the afternoon) during the class schedule. A spanish interpreter will be available for some of these classes. Please inquire. This class also satisfies 16 hours of CEU's for licensed irrigators!
